It was great to start the second half of term with a big Community Event! The fireworks on Sunday night lit up the Cheltenham night sky in spectacular fashion. On Tuesday the U14 girls’ hockey team were in action at the Regional Finals and played some superb hockey losing 2-1 in the semi-finals.
This week has also seen the continuation of the Senior House Quiz Competition, the Strings’ Day and the incredible performances by our Seniors in the House Public Speaking Competition, who tackled topics including ‘The Third Industrial Revolution’, ‘Wonder Women’, ‘Legalising Prostitution’, ‘Religion’s Special Status’ and a host of other thought provoking subjects. The confidence and eloquence of all the speakers was truly impressive.
