It has been a bumper week, with the usual plethora of activities. On the academic front, it was terrific to see our Senior Mathematicians performing so well at the Olympiad, coming second out of all the competing schools, and just missing out on a place in the National Finals. There was a History visit to the Warwick University Study Day, attendance at a lecture on Science & Religion, and a Mathematics lecture on Cryptology. The Junior Quiz Competition is progressing well and we look forward to seeing the results of that in due course.

The Music Scholars entertained an extremely appreciative audience with a stunning range of performances last evening in the Prince Michael Hall. The Swimming team were in action against Monmouth on Thursday, as were the first 1ST XI Girls’ Hockey Team in the West Finals. They played some outstanding hockey to win the competition and progress to the National Finals to be held in March. On Tuesday, the boys U15 Rugby team progressed to the next round of their National Competition, beating Clifton College in a very well contested match.
