The end of last week finished on a really high note with the entire School in attendance at the annual House Singing Competition. It was tremendous to see everyone involved, and it demonstrated what enormously talented pupils we have, but also demonstrated the leadership skills of the 6th Formers who led their houses so well.
The U18 Girls’ Hockey team kept the flag flying on the sporting front by adding another trophy to the collection by winning the County Tournament on Tuesday with some superb performances against local rivals.
Last night’s New Scholars’ Music recitals in the Prince Michael Hall showed a tremendous range of skill from vocals to harp, and brass to violin. It was great to see the newer members of our community performing so confidently.

‘Own Clothes Day’ – Friday 14 October
This coming Friday, we will be having our first ‘Own Clothes Day’ of the year, and on this occasion we are encouraging our pupils to wear Pink in support of the Charity Breast Cancer Now. This fabulous initiative was put forward by a group of our new 4th Form girls in Shelburne and we look forward to a colourful day. Pupils are reminded that in exchange for wearing their own clothes, they are required to bring £2 which will go directly to Breast Cancer Now. There will also be cakes on sale in the Dining Hall at break time to raise a little more money for this incredibly worthwhile cause.
Please find below a list of the meetings which have been scheduled for this academic year. It is worth noting that the Lower and Upper 6th Form Parents can attend either the Thursday or Friday sessions on 30 and 31 March 2017. This is scheduled in order to cater for both the Day and Boarding Parents. It would be helpful if you could let us know which of these two events you are proposing to attend by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
