Year Two have started the term off in a very exciting way by travelling back to the ‘land that time forgot’!

The children came dressed as explorers, palaeontologists, dinosaurs, prehistoric creatures and even as cave people.  Their day began with a team treasure hunt on Wilton Lawn where the children had to find answers to set questions on dinosaur outlines which had been hidden.  Later they had a Dinosaur Detective Day booklet to complete and had to work out how to create a split-pin dinosaur.

Even the French lesson was related to dinosaurs, where the children had to name dinosaur body parts in French. While they were working they had dinosaur songs to listen to and a dino-documentary film to watch.  What a roarsome day!!!
